Radcon Formula # 7^® has been used to waterproof major waterholding vessels for nearly 30 years.

Unlike traditional membranes that generally are not receptive to constant water, Radcon is the opposite.  When water is in contact with Radcon it improves the chemical reaction between Radcon and the calcium in the concrete, actually assisting it's waterproofing abilities.  This has meant that Radcon has been used on a wide variety of waterholding vessels over the past 25 years.

As well as waterproofing, Radcon prevents chloride ingress into the concrete and preventing corrosion of the steel, thus prolonging the life of these structures.

Radcon has been tested and approved for use with potable water in a range of different countries throughout the world.  It has been used on many drinking water tanks in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. 

It is completely non-toxic and has been used on aquariums with up to 40,000 fish and plant life in them.

Possibly the best examples of Radcon's effectiveness with water tanks are:

• the Wahooo! Water Park in Bahrain, which has 2,000,000 litres of water sitting on top of a shopping centre.  Radcon is the ONLY waterproofing on the pools and the clients are extremely happy as there is not a single drop leaking.  We invite interested parties to do their own inspection fo the site.
   
• The Stamford Resort at North Ryde, Sydney.  The site was constructed originally as an outdoor area and then coverted to an artificial lake, full of fish and plant life.  It is actually the roof of a carpark so it is possible to go under the lake and inspect the concrete below.  Twenty four years after it was waterproofed it is still working perfectly - accordingly the Engneer that specified Radcon on the site originally, wrote us the following "testimonial".  click here.
