The roof of this very large shop has now been protected by Radcon Formula # 7^®.

Located in the Kanagawa Prefecture (south of Tokyo), it will be exposed to every weather condition therefore any product used here must be robust and able to withstand every sort of thermal stress imaginable.  Radcon Formula # 7^® is a trusted name as it has been waterproofing concrete in Japan since 1993.

By using Radcon Formula # 7^® the owners of this shop were able to save considerable time compared to applying a traditional membrane.

Using a low pressure motorised spray unit will allow an application rate of up to 800 square metres per hour or 7,000 square metres a day – compared to 100 square metres a day for a membrane.

Neither will they have to worry about ingress of water from the roof for the rest of this building's life as Radcon Formula # 7^® will remain active within the concrete forever.

Should any hairline cracks occur, Radcon Formula # 7^® will reactivate and reseal these.
