This top level car park was treated with RADCON in 1988 and underwent THREE site tests to date.
The latest report by Mahaffey Associates from April 2017 confirms 100% watertight seal, proving RADCON's impeccable performance for the service life of the structure, with no maintenance since application in 1988.
A watertight confirmation was conducted by Roger Scerri from the Building Research Centre, University of New South Wales in August 1993.
You can find a complete copy of this report in the Library titled: BRC Condition Survey of Radcon Formula #7 Installations.
The full 1995 report is titled “Ability of Radcon #7 to maintain a watertight seal on cracks for a full thermal cycle”.
We have just completed an identical test update on the same site, where cracks of up to 2.5mm were present at time of Radcon waterproofing application!
This full report completed by Mahaffey associates dated 9th May 2017 confirms Radcon continues to waterproof just the same as when the 1988 application was concluded.
Faultless waterproofing performance re-confirmed 29 Years after application.
