Market Town East is a new shopping centre development currently under construction in Newcastle, NSW - a long awaited addition to the local infrastructure that will facilitate all surrounding residential areas.

Radmyx Capillary Waterproofing System was chosen by the contractor, ADCO Constructions, for waterproofing of the basement and all post-tensioned slabs.

The basement slab was poured about 1 metre below the existing water table and a dewatering system was employed using a series of spear pumps to de-water the site during the pour.

Because the Radmyx crystals actually grow towards any area of water, Radmyx is perfect for applications below the  water table..

Approved Applicator, Uniseal Pty Ltd, has over 20 years experience with this versatile and cost effective crystal growth product, which was used as admixture for this project.
